Michelle McKnight

Michelle has been quilting for 25+ years. She taught FACS (Family & Consumer Science)--what we all remember as "Home Ec"--for many years. Her goal was always that she impart life skills to her students. Her Mom taught her to sew when she was younger and now she loves to learn from other Quilt Guild members. She also had a tailoring business for many years, but now is retired. These days her sewing is largely quilts and prom dresses.

This is a McCalls kit "Village Street". I added a 5 inch border and open Prarie Points to make it a little bigger. My granddaughter picked it out of my stack for her graduation quilt. It's at least 10 years old. I didn't like the colors but Katelyn did. It turned out better than I thought it would.
