   Jean McPherron  - “Shop Hop Done!”   is a 10 FQ quilt with black sashing.  Kaffe prints.


 Jean McPherron  - “Clammy Coral”. Coral Fat Quarters into a clam quilt.  Two years to finish!



Sharon Kendall – Soldiers Star.   Blues and green Medallion star. Made for husband. 


Machelle Preston – Bridle Path.  Lynn Wilder from Sewn Wild Oats designs did the fabric for Marcus Brothers and the pattern.


 Deonn Scott - Ipsilon.  Bluegreen, pinks and greens. 


Lorri Cummings – Tilda Blooms.  Tilda fabrics inspired by Tilda online patters with a little variation in leaves.

  Kim McCloskey – Nevermore.  Raven from Emily Taylor’s class.

Sharon Wright (with 11 1/3 grandkids)  shows working with Wool & Silk


Moto: “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” By Boyd K. Packer 

Wool quilts have wool batting.  Still uses ¼” seams but presses seams open to reduce bulk.  Uses old clothes, skirts, suits. 

All Things Bright and Beautiful. B of m, her design.

Light of the world.  Her pattern, applique in wool. 


No name – scrappy wool leaves to calm quilt.





Ties – unpicked, washed, dried, ironed, interlinked, light weight pellon, non-woven.  Silk quilts all have silk battings.  Inspired in Puducah, bought silk and practiced  quilting.

“Worlds without end.”  Circles are fused on.






Neckties from kids missions- unpicked, ironed.  Leftover ties on back.

Mike Runge gave her box of ties. (Made him two quilts with sports theme) Wondering geese and Sky & Desert. Mike had a $300  a month clothes allowance and purchases some expensive ties.
