February Show and Tell

Sarah Yorgason showed “The Giving Quilt” which is a free pattern by Project Linus. Sarah cut the fabric, someone else pieced it and another person quilted it then Marie Robinson did the binding. 

 Sarah Yorgason showed her “Chilhowie” quilt which was the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt for 2022.

3)      Sandy Lai showed her “Valentine Runner.” It is all machine applique from Amelie Scott. She put a red, white and blue back on it so she can also use it in July.

  Cathy Brand showed her “Pie Dishtowel” from Kimberbell.

  Cathy Brand also showed her “Let Me Call You Tweatheart” pillow also from Kimberbell.

 Barb Murdock showed her triangle quilt and pillow made with oranges, reds, and greens.




 Barb Murdock also showed a quilt made with peach and white colors.

  Mary Staub showed her “Snowman” quilt. All fabric and the pattern were gifted to her.

 Then she showed her “Outer space” quilt which is for her 5-year-old grandson. 
It was her first time using a panel.


 Denise Farley showed a “Log Cabin” quilt then a “Rail Fence” quilt. These are from the Quilter’s Academy Book 1 which she has been working through during the pandemic. She has given away all the others.




Marilyn Snow Showed “Sparkling New Year’s Mystery.” They started by choosing a background, light, medium and dark fabrics. Then the cutting instructions were given a few days before the end of the year. The piecing clues were given on New Years Eve.





Karlene Riggs showed a hand embroidered and hand quilted 100-inch square quilt that she is trying to sell for a friend.
